SciSpace – A new, web based research collaboration tool created by scientists.

The seeds for SciSpace were planted in 2007 at an environmental science workshop held at the Cambridge University. The idea at this conference was to provide a forum to link simulation scientists with experimentalist and field scientists. In breakout groups it was clear that most of the attendees were looking for a social networking and collaboration tool specifically for scientists and their research needs, but none was available. Cambridge researchers and programmers immediately tackled the problem. The result is SciSpace.

Only SciSpace offers scientists:
  • Access control by invitation only provides security for data and other information.
  • Sharing tools provides collaboration options for communities and other working groups, including: RSS, blog, wiki, profile, communities, web, DIGG, etc.
  • Complete archive of all content and discussions which provides a complete, centralized, organized record of the work.
  • Global 24/7 access via the web to content and discussions means more active interaction to advance research at a faster pace.

SciSpace is the evolution of intelligent scientific collaboration – and it’s FREE. Start a new collaboration, or take an old one to the next level with SciSpace.
